Through collaborations with international partners, BCAI fosters scientific exchange, actively seeking opportunities to expand its research network and engage with industry and academic thought leaders, guided by company guidelines to ensure trust in intelligent products and further solidify its position in Industrial AI.
AI Verify Foundation
Bosch becoming member of the non-profit foundation based in Singapore to build trust through ethical AI Bosch aims to use AI to make life safer, easier, and more comfortable while upholding its values of quality, reliability, and safety. In support of trustworthy AI, Bosch joined the AI Verify Foundation in November 2023. The foundation, a non-profit led by Singapore’s IMDA, brings together stakeholders to promote responsible AI through testing, standards, and governance. By joining, Bosch seeks to collaborate with others in the trusted AI space and contribute to developing best practices that benefit the entire Bosch Group.
fetch.ai Foundation
Bosch and fetch.ai are expanding their cooperation by establishing the fetch.ai foundation that will research, develop, and commercialize web3-technologies. As our world becomes increasingly connected, Bosch envisions an “Economy of Things” (EoT) — a future where machines network, communicate, and make autonomous economic decisions. For example, cars could automatically choose the most cost-effective parking or negotiate electricity prices at charging stations. To help realize this vision, Bosch has expanded its partnership with fetch.ai, a platform specializing in Web3, AI, and autonomous economic systems. Since 2019, Bosch and fetch.ai have collaborated on projects involving mobility, smart homes, and Industry 4.0. In their latest step, they jointly launched the fetch.ai Foundation, which aims to build a decentralized, open-source ecosystem for developing and applying Web3 technologies. The Foundation will bring together partners from industry and technology to share data securely, ensure data sovereignty, and drive collaborative innovation. Inspired by the Linux Foundation model, this initiative combines AI, open-source, and traditional engineering to develop real-world applications of the EoT.
