Learning at Bosch

At Bosch, I have access to a rich set of learning and sharing resources which are deeply embedded in my everyday work: from the Bosch Tube video platform to the peer-to-peer learning platform Bosch Club. They provide both internal and external know-how. I regularly take advantage of these platforms to explore new topics, develop technical and leadership skills, and broaden my perspective on global business challenges. All of this is only possible thanks to the positive learning culture, strong managerial support, and cross-location working opportunities.

After six years at Bosch in Germany, I moved to Cluj, Romania. Everything was new: a new job, a new subject area, a new team, a new country, and a new language. The beginning wasn’t easy at all, and there were some unforeseen challenges along the way. However, after about a year, I felt at ease, mainly thanks to my colleagues. As in Germany, I could rely on the necessary support in Romania as well. During my time at Bosch, I completed several training courses: from highly technical ones on topics such as plastics processing, to organizational courses like project management, and soft skills courses including intercultural training. In the end, it was the people around me and the great corporate culture that helped me progress. The mindset at Bosch, where people are happy to help others and support them in making progress, truly reflects team spirit and is invaluable.

At Bosch, I am constantly developing myself further, step by step. I started as a Product Development Engineer - fresh out of university and taking my first steps into the corporate world. I was fortunate to receive hands-on product training alongside foundational Bosch trainings right from the start. After three years, I transitioned into a Project Manager role, developing new skills through programs that focused more on interpersonal skills and business acumen than on products and processes. Later, I had the opportunity to upskill into a leadership role, leading the Project Management team with a stronger emphasis on content-driven leadership and building high-performance teams. Throughout my career, I have always felt supported and empowered. Every step forward has opened new doors for growth. I’m grateful to be part of a culture that encourages improvement every day.
